Coral Bay is the mosy popular beach resort in the area thanks in a large part to ot having one of the best beaches with a long and deep crescent of golden sand set in an enclosed and sheltered bay of shallow water. It is so popular though that it is almost always packed and sun beds cover all the best parts of the beach below the cliffside taverna. There is plenty of parking on the main road above with a new car park, though many prefer the dirt and gravel parking nearer the beach. There is a fairly steep walk down along a concrete road that leads down to the taverna and then the beach. Those looking for peace and quiet should head elsewhere - Coral Bay has the crowds, the noise and the blaring music. Apartments and hotels have sprung up all around, though few can be seen from the beach itself.
